We spend some time each evening in December celebrating Advent as a family. We celebrate when Jesus came as a baby and anticipate His second-coming by discussing the 4 candles (hope, peace, love, and joy). This week we are studying love.
Chris: "...so that's how we know the wise men loved Jesus. What are some ways we can love Jesus?"
Noelle: "Do crocodiles love Jesus?"
Chris: "No, not really."
Noelle: "I like crocodiles....but only when they are in water. If they are in the grass, then I'm scared and want you to hold me."

I love children! That is kind of the way some of our religious discussions went with our children.
