Mi-ma flew in from Dallas yesterday. Noelle and I went to pick her up. This was Noelle's first trip to an airport. She loves looking at airplanes in the sky and knows that they go to the airport. Here is one of our conversations just before we went to get Mi-ma.
Chris: We're going to see Mi-ma at the airport today.
Noelle: Airplanes are very high.
Chris: Yes, they are.
Noelle: Be careful with Mi-ma.
Chris: We will be very careful with Mi-ma.
Noelle: Don't break her.

Yes, Jesus Loves Me
We still haven't posted pictures from Noelle's birthday last Friday because we haven't sorted through all 125 of them yet. We plan to do this by Thanksgiving, though. Until then, enjoy this video of Noelle.

Let the Terrible-ness Begin!
It seems like just yesterday Noelle was born:
And then she was one (still a baby in my opinion):
I can't believe she is now TWO!
It is so fun for us to see her learn and grow every day. It seems like every day she is doing things that make us laugh. Here are some things about her now that she's two.
Favorite foods: Watermelon, Oatmeal w/raisins, Vienna sausages, Cookies and cake
Favorite video: Anything with Bob the Tomato
Favorite toys: Puzzles, Blocks, Play food, Doctor kit, Crayons
Things she says that are funny: "Hydrocortisone cream", "I want to step out" (We're not exactly sure what she means by that), "May I have hold you please", "I love you me Noelle", "I'm NOT very tired and sleepy"
Favorite animals: Puppy dogs, Ladybugs
Favorite color: Color, what's a color? (Seriously she has no idea what her colors are)
Other random facts: She loves to watch diving on TV, She can be very bossy (especially with Hannah), She adds syllables to all her words--"this" becomes "the-us", and "egg" becomes "a-ugg", etc.
I'm sure there are more fun things, but I can't think of them right now and we're already 5 days late in wishing her a happy birthday on our blog. :-) We have pictures from her party, but we've got to wait to get them from grandparents...I didn't take very many with my camera. Until next time!

Free Food
Yes, free food is really the only reason that we have now taken part in Cow Appreciation Day two years in a row. Last year we went to a free-standing Chick-fil-A, but this year we decided to up the ante and go to the one in the mall. By doing this we had to walk through Dillard's and down the middle of the mall (ie, passing lots of people who wondered what we were doing) before arriving at Chick-fil-A. Chris just mooed at anyone who gave him a weird look.
Here we are in our cute costumes:
We met some friends at the mall who also dressed up:
Noelle tried her first french fry. (We don't try a lot of new foods around here because of allergies...I know she's so deprived.) She didn't like it at all. She just licked it and gave it back to us:
After dinner we went with them to the mall playground. Their daughter mooed the whole way:
Cow Appreciation Day
If you dress up like a cow today (July 11th) and go in at Chick-fil-a, you can get a free combo meal! We'll do pretty much anything for free food, as you can see here.

The Quiet Game
This following is a public service announcement for those of you who ever keep Noelle.
As we drove home from church today Noelle was particularly quiet. As you know, quiet is rarely, if ever, used to describe her -- especially while in her carseat. Normally I can ask her one question and she will respond and then continue to talk about anything and everything that enters her mind for the rest of our time in the car. Today was different. She wouldn't answer any question. She wouldn't sing. She wouldn't tell us what she wanted to eat for lunch. She wouldn't list her friends from Sunday School. The car ride was full of complete silence. We learned why less than 10 seconds after walking in the door: Noelle threw up and then she threw up again.
The moral of this story is that if you are ever with Noelle and she remains quiet for more than 30 seconds, you should immediately rush her to the bathroom or cover your house in plastic tarps because the quiet game is about to end.
