Noelle: What's for breakfast today?
Sarah: How about pancakes?
Noelle (disappointed): Oh, I was wanting cinnamon rolls.
Sarah: It's pancakes or cereal.
*** long pause ***
Noelle: That's a hard choice.
Chris: I think you should have pancakes. Mommy got up early to make a nice breakfast for you. I would choose pancakes.
*** short pause ***
Noelle: I'll take cereal.

Ouch! At least you were trying to help her to "choose wisely".
Her Mom always liked the green pancakes when she was Noelle's age.
Not even 13 yet and already making the opposite choice of Daddy!
