Jared continues to be a very happy & content baby. Here's an update on what he's up to these days.
- This month he has seemed to "wake-up". He's awake for much longer stretches during the day and is interacting with us much more.
- He's found his hands, and can pretty much cram a whole fist in his mouth at once...it's pretty funny.
- He reaches out and tries to touch some of his toys on his bouncer. He's even been lucky enough to get one to his mouth every once in a while.
- Most days he takes 2 long naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Then he'll take a short nap in the evening.
- He's eating about every 3 1/2 to 4 hrs during the day.
- His bedtime is around 7pm. We had been feeding him again at 10pm (basically in his sleep), but we recently dropped that feeding since he didn't really eat much then.
- Sleeping at night is somewhat of a challenge. Some nights he does fine. And some nights he wants his pacifier replaced 6-8 times. Luckily, he goes to sleep after that and isn't up for hours in the night. But it's still annoying and disturbing our sleep. He also still eats at least once at night, which probably explains the chubby legs. :-)
- He did roll over last month, but it was a total accident and he hasn't done it again. He rolls over about halfway when there's something interesting to look at. (Like TV.)
- He loves the TV. He will crane his neck and turn to look at it whenever it's on. He particularly seems to enjoy basketball.
- Noelle still adores being a big sister.
