I tend to look back on times with rose-colored glasses. So, I'm going to document the start of my day so one day down the road I can look back and laugh at what things were really like.
Kyle wakes up at 4:30 to eat, afterwards I get about 30 more minutes of sleep and am up for the day.
Chris leaves for work early today.
**Keep in mind that the past two days when Chris has been home in the morning things have gone off without a hitch.**
Jared wakes up 30 minutes before his normal wake-up time screaming & doesn't go back to sleep.
This wakes up Noelle early.
The 3 of us eat our breakfasts and get ready.
Jared becomes super-clingy at this point. (Grabbing my legs, bawling.)
Kyle has to be woken up to feed him. I hate having to wake up a sleeping baby!
Noelle wants to read a book while I feed Kyle.
Jared wants in my lap while I feed Kyle.
Jared can't get close enough to me and cries while stepping on Kyle (who is nursing!!)
Also, Kyle has thrush...this does not make feeding him the most pleasant thing right now.
Noelle is crying because Jared is throwing a fit and she can't hear her book.
We finally all pack up and I remember my coffee, which is now luke warm.
We drive to school.
I drop Noelle off...this is the first day when she walks in all by herself.
I cry. (Partly because Noelle is so grown up, partly because it's 7:55 and I'm already exhausted but mostly because I hate the school parking lot.)
We head to Wal-Mart.
After Wal-Mart, I unload the groceries, while the boys wait in the car. The plan is to go on one more errand once the cold stuff is put away.
Then I smell it.
Poop. It's everywhere. Kyle has been saving this one up for DAYS. It is bad.
So, scratch plans for the errand. We do bathtime, laundry, scrub the car seat, and feed the baby again.
Then it's lunchtime and naptime for me and Jared.
I'm curious how this afternoon is going to go. :-)
