NKOTB

That's right...New Kids on the Block! When I watched the Today Show this morning, there they were performing all of their old songs! I think they announced their tour a while back, but I just happened to see them this morning. So many memories... That was the first concert that I went to as a pre-adolescent. What cracked me up was seeing all of the 30-something year olds who were acting like 5th graders. Don't get me wrong, if I lived close to NY I would have been there, too.

I wanted to share a funny story about NKOTB, though. When I was in 3rd grade (I think) I was invited to a birthday party of a friend who was a little older than me and was totally IN LOVE with them. She and the other girls knew all of the songs already, but I didn't really know what they were all talking about. Well, at some point in the party they were singing and dancing to the songs. I decided that since I didn't know the words, I would lay down on the floor, stick my foot up in the air and pretend to be their microphone. Wow...that is so lame!! But I hope you got a laugh out of it.

Sarah,
I may be able to provide you with a picture of your debut as a microphone if you would like. Also, the one with the "units" belt you wore for a mini-skirt.

Love, Mom

Thank you, Mariana. I appreciate you clearing up who it was that wrote this post.

For those of you out there who thought it was Chris who wrote the post, you are not my friend anymore.

Brad was singing along to NKOTB more than I was yesterday!! I just had flashbacks to 1990 when I went to their concert in Houston. I was IN LOVE with Jordan.

I would love to see the picture of you being a microphone. Hilarious.
