She's had a few sweet things. Mainly fruit and toddler snacks. Definitely nothing as sweet as cake. :-) Right now about the only table foods she'll eat are sweet...we've been "successful" with bananas, grapes, peaches and pears. I'm curious how she'll do with the cake because most of the time she won't even give new foods a chance before she spits them out. I guess she's got a month to work on it. :-)
Here's a tip: strip her down to her diaper when she tries the cake. Joey was covered with chocolate frosting from his hair to his belly button when he had a cupcake on his first birthday!

I can't wait to see our angel eat her first piece of cake! Has she ever tasted anything sweet, besides sweet potatoes?
