I knew that going to church was going to change a lot when we had a baby, but there were things I just wasn't expecting! I thought my worst fear would be the screaming baby. But no...I came to realize that it would be the very loud toot/dirty diaper. When we first brought her home from the hospital, I was so shocked at how loud Noelle could be when generating a dirty diaper. I mean, we could her it in the other room!
Well, this Sunday, Noelle proceeded to make 3 very loud diapers during our time at church. Two happened during Sunday School, about 10 minutes apart. Normally, I would think the smaller setting would make it easier to laugh it off. But this was the very first Sunday for this class, and you hate to make things even more awkward for the teacher. The third dirty diaper happened during night church. Thankfully we were only sitting next to one other couple (who has a young child, too). The dad did turn around and snicker! :-)
I thought I would be sad when it comes time to put Noelle in the nursery, but I think I am going to be relieved!
Another note that is church related: This morning I was reading the scripture Isaiah 66:1-2. I don't know if it was sleep deprivation or the print in my Bible being small, but I thought it said, "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my football." I think I really need a nap! :-)

Yesterday felt so good to worship more than 3 minutes and without a lot of worry (although I knew the little red No. 2 was going to silently yell at the whole congregation at any moment). I felt like a new woman since I didn't have to carry a baby around during the service. You may be a little nervous, but also feel a little freedom! I am sure the nursery workers can't wait for her to go to the nursery!! She is so cute!
Did the shooey come out the back of the diaper? That happened when we were there in August. I had Taco Bueno (a big no, no!) the day before and Mallory let me know what happens when Mommy eats a bean burrito. Not pretty. Although, I've gone almost 2 months without Bueno and I'd deal with a dirty diaper just for one burrito...mmmm! But I guess I should be considerate and not put my daughter's digestive system through that again. Oh well.
Her outfit is very cute by the way! And it would hide any shooey that gets on it:) Gross, I know.
Thankfully there was no shooey out the back of the diaper while we were at church. Although yesterday was a different story. I was at Bible study and Chris was watching her. He got tired of having to change her clothes due to spit up and shooey and just had her in a diaper when I got home. :-)
